Robotic Camp Jr. (ages: 7-9)
This program explores the basics of Lego Mindstorm NXT Robotics. Students will learn how to build a strong and functional robot base while exploring the concepts of motion, force and the transfer on energy. They will also learn basic programming functions in order to program their robot to perform various tasks. Because this is a junior program, the campers will also enjoy building with Lego bricks to create a theme based set for their robotic counter parts. They will also build friendships though various team work exercises designed to encouraging leadership and cooperation through out the week.
